At the age of 14, a young lady was involved in an accident that left her paralyzed. Her name, Sabrina Cohen. Today, she is not only the founder of the Sabrina Cohen Foundation, but she is also a successful real estate agent, which many of her clients are disabled looking for accessible residences.

Sabrina has gone on to become an advocate for the disabled community in Miami. Over the years, she was determined to live life to the fullest and propel the disabled community to be more inclusive.

In 2016, Sabrina created ‘Sabrina’s Adaptive Beach.’ It is a pop-up program that stages the beach for people to navigate in the wheelchairs and have access to equipment to get into the water. For many, this is their first time on the beach or in the ocean in years.

The adaptive Beach pop-up is operable on the first and third Sunday’s of every month from 11am-3pm and is located at 6475 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida.
